We all come from the sea.
COTT stands for Children of the Tides. We're a surf brand from Taiwan, founded in 2021.
Why leashes
Your leash is the least noticed piece of gear on your board, yet it works on every wave. Most leashes look the same: black or grey, with a logo on the cuff. We wanted one that's reliable, stays out of your way, and makes you smile when you strap it on.
How we make them
- Our own spec: COTT designs the cuff, cord and swivel setup.
- Our own artwork: Every cuff design is drawn by COTT. We were the first in the world to make a full-print leash cuff, with the artwork printed edge to edge on Hypalon.
- Used by riders: National team surfers, contest winners and well-known surf creators ride with COTT leashes: @tiffanyyylu, @itslucasyuen, @elaineabonal, @rojoo_cho_i, @jee.s_0, @song_hyehyun, @chouchong.surf.

- Pro Series surf leashes: 6ft ankle and 9ft knee, in 12 designs.
